Locking hood latches, reinforced by steel frame on underside of hood. Windshield wipers are standard. Look closely at gap between hood and cowl. Note brilliant reflection on paint.

Original-style German leather seats (steel frames and rubber diaphragms provide exceptional comfort and ride quality). Stainless steel pins (arrow) are for soft top and tonneau cover. The stainless steel ringlets for side screens (lower left) have rubber bushings underneath to protect paint.
Side screens, soft top and tonneau cover all standard equipment.

Polished stainless steel integrated rollbar is standard. If you were to run your hand under where you see the arrow (we encourage you to do this when you see a Superformance product), you would find that this area is perfectly smooth and "finished". No rough fiberglass and no picking fiberglass from your hands.

Stainless steel license plate bracket and number light.
Rivets on hood are placed for aesthetic detail (these rivets as well as those around perimeter of hood are not structural and can be deleted from the factory). When you see a Superformance MK III, run your fingers across the stripe and you will find virtually no ridges.

Original-style, polished aluminum Monza fuel filler with internal locking gas cap.

Stainless steel air extraction vent.

Trunk hinges bolt into integrated steel frame that reinforces deck lid. Note brilliant reflection of paint finish.

Note fit of door gaps. Open and shut an MK III door and listen. You'll be amazed.

Note finish of paint underneath deck lid. Trunk and hood are double-skinned and steel reinforced around perimeter. The trunk and hood latches and catches all bolt into steel surrounds. When you inspect an MK III firsthand, run your hands under the doors, under the hood, and in trunk area; inspect closely. You'll like what you find.

Look closely at underside of door and run your hand underneath door and you'll find an exceptional finish where the eye cannot see (when you see a Superformance product, pay close attention to these details). Knob on dash is for fresh air ventilation into foot boxes.

Original-style German leather seats (steel frames and rubber diaphragms provide exceptional comfort and ride quality).

Original specification Oil Cooler. Note quality of finish, paint and stripe.

Latest technology, single row high performance aluminum core radiator with two thermostatically-controlled fans on reverse side (not shown). The absence of air gaps forces air through the radiator, not around it. This eliminates ANY overheating problems even with the largest of motors.

Note brilliance of Superformance/PPG Global Paint Finishes.

Note fit of door gaps. Open and shut an MK III door and listen. You'll be amazed.

Original-style, aluminum pin drive wheels with true knockoffs are standard. Your choice of several brand tires standard, sizes are 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear. Run your hand up inside of fenderwells and you'll feel how consistently even the MK III's composite finish is.
